HOW TO PREPARE FOR DELE

GET FAMILIAR WITH THE EXAM FORMAT

1.  Firstly, you must know which level is the right one for you. So you first need to test yourself using the practice papers provided here.

2.  After you have decided on the level, you need to practice the exam format, ensuring that you are adhering to the time limit stipulated for a particular paper.

3.  You can get some advice from this blog  El rincón del profesor ELE  written by an examiner and a teacher who have experience in preparing candidates for the DELE exams.

DELE AVE COURSES (Online courses)
If you wish, you can register and take an online training course at the Aula Virtual de Español (Virtual Spanish Classroom). These courses are created by the Instituto Cervantes who are also responsible for the examinations.  You will be able to practice all the skills including the speaking skill.

DELE: What is it? FAQs

The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official qualifications certifying one's level of competence in the Spanish language at an international level. Anyone with a certain level in the language can take one of the levels and obtain a certification if he/she passes the exam. This certification is issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain . Is DELE a course? No, it is only an examination that someone, with a certain level of Spanish, does in order to obtain a certification. It is important, however, to be familiar with the format and content of the examinations and so practice is important.
